From 1 October, 2026, ISS will deliver cleaning, catering, technical services, security and workplace experience services to Home Office sites across Region 2 - Midlands, South Yorkshire & North Wales. 

ISS is extremely excited about the new partnership and the opportunities it brings.

You and the team delivering services are critical to its success so if you work in these areas in this region,

your role may transfer to ISS under 'TUPE regulations'.

​Next Steps

• In July, we hosted 'Town Hall sessions' at Ryton and Vulcan House for all affected colleagues to attend a short presentation about the transfer to ISS. It was great to meet many of you. If you missed the sessions, you can see the slides here.

• Over the coming months we will be arranging individual appointments with all colleagues transferring to ISS. These are 121 meetings with an ISS representative to capture your information and ensure the transfer to ISS is as smooth as possible.

• Employee representatives are currently being appointed by your employer. Once confirmed, you will be able to ask your representative questions to be put forward to ISS. 

• We hope to carry out 121 meetings with catering colleagues mid-August and all other 121 meetings from the end of August - September.

• You will receive notification of your 121 from your current employer. Please bring your Bank Account details and Proof of Identity Documents to this meeting so that we can carry out the Right to Work checks and pay you once you transfer to ISS – see exactly what to bring here.
